US nuclear talks, BRICS membership and Ukraine war – Interview with Russian Deputy FM

Russia refused to negotiate with the US on nuclear stability unless preconditions are met, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov during a news briefing on Thursday.

The briefing, which focused on the upcoming BRICS summit in Kazan, highlighted that over 30 countries confirmed participation, with potential membership bids from nations like Turkey.

Regarding the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Ryabkov reiterated that Russia remains open to a political solution.

The BRICS, founded in 2006 by Brazil, Russia, India, and China, with South Africa joining in 2010, has recently expanded to include Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, and the UAE. Saudi Arabia is considering joining, and Azerbaijan has formally applied.

  2. America is the Forked Tongue. Wonder why the rest of the world still harbour hopes of them having even an iota of honesty. The rest of the world is either really daft or likes being screwed time and time again.

  5. Fact is the toxic US regime will use any treaty to buy itself time while totally disregarding it. To expect these depraved dements to honor any agreement is self delusion.

  6. taiwanstillisacountry continues to insist that he’s a real Chinese and he has an EU passport. 🤦‍♂️ Chinese law doesn’t even allow dual citizenship. Just like Chinese law doesn’t allow even their citizens to enter China without a passport but Nuofu said he could. But now I know why he lies. A washed up, dysfunctional old man, who is old enough to remember the year 1981, and who has never succeeded at anything in all that time, really needs to lie like this to feel good about himself. Nothing else will distract Nuofu from what a failure his life has been.

  14. Russia is the one being hostile to Europe. The patience of the good guys is wearing thin; they should be thankful for any mercy that the West will show to them. 🙄
