  1. Really slack by the police here, but frankly wanting to own one of these dogs should immediately disqualify you from doing so.

    Get a Labrador instead.

  2. Had to reread this 3 times to understand (I think?) that the owner hasn’t actually been put down. Can someone confirm?

  3. Was this recent? If they hadn’t applied by the deadline that’s on them surely, as nobody is supposed to be able to a acquire one since

  4. The dog was described as a “softie”. Every XL bully is described this way. They still rip faces off.

Good riddance is all I can say.

  5. Holy shit I knew Sky’s standards had been slipping for a while, but didn’t realise they were *this* bad. Was the editor on a smoke break or something?

No, that isn’t another dodgy click-bait poster title, it’s from the actual article.

  6. I hope he sues the hell out of the police. Putting down any animal due to “administrative error” is unacceptable, and an abuse of due process to euthanise the dog before the court hearing. The police had no right to do anything before a court judgement.

  7. By “error” they put down the owner of an XL bully, whilst he was waiting for a call to collect his dog…. That’s a very big mistake!!!

  8. A question that doesn’t seem to have been answered, why did Lancashire Constabulary sieze the dog in the first place. The article states to test it’s temperament, but what exactly prompeted this? I’m not aware of any scheme to round up XL Child Killers to test them?

  9. I’d feel bad if it wasn’t for the fact that these dogs are responsible for most of the deaths of innocent people including kids and other people’s such beloved dogs.

Not sure why anyone would want these murder beasts around their loved ones, would you trust a lion around your children no you wouldn’t.

  10. ANYONE ON THIS THREAD WHO WANTS GENUINE PROOF THAT THESE DOGS ARE NOT ANY MORE AGGRESSIVE THAN ANOTHER BREED. DM ME AN EMAIL AND I WILL SEND YOU DOCUMENTATION OVER
