04 Oct: Targeted Critical Russian Oil Depots, Repulsed Attacks | Russia Ukraine War Update

Hello everyone, from a new video! In a bold overnight operation, Ukrainian drones targeted two critical Russian oil depots, striking deep into Russian territory. The attacks took place in the Voronezh and Perm regions, two areas of strategic importance for Russia’s energy infrastructure.

Let’s take a closer look at the map. Voronezh, located about 500 kilometers south of Moscow, is a vital industrial hub. The city sits near important roadways connecting Moscow to southern Russia, including key transport routes that support the Russian war effort. By striking a fuel tank in this region, Ukraine may be trying to disrupt logistical supply lines that funnel resources to Russian military units operating closer to the frontlines. Given Voronezh’s proximity to the Ukrainian border, it’s possible that Ukraine sees this as a critical node in cutting off Russian fuel supply channels.

Shifting east, the Perm region, where the second drone strike caused a fire across an area of 10,000 square meters, is a significant blow to Russia’s internal oil network. Perm lies in the Ural Mountains, a key geographic area rich in natural resources. It’s much further from the Ukrainian border, but still, this strike showcases Ukraine’s growing reach in the conflict. The destruction of fuel containers in Perm could hinder Russia’s ability to distribute oil across the country. Such a widespread fire in a strategic region could have ripple effects beyond just military logistics, potentially affecting domestic energy supplies and industrial outputs in the Ural region.

These attacks appear to be part of a broader Ukrainian strategy to target Russia’s logistical and fuel networks, forcing Russian forces to stretch their resources thinner across a vast territory. It’s not just about military targets anymore; Ukraine is clearly aiming to weaken Russia’s ability to sustain the war effort by going after the infrastructure that powers it. By choosing regions both close to the frontlines and deeper within Russia’s borders, Ukraine seems to be signaling that no part of Russia is completely out of reach.

As Russia deals with the fallout from these strikes, the question remains: how will this impact their ability to maintain supply lines? Will this force Moscow to redirect more resources to protect its energy infrastructure, further weakening its position on the battlefield?

In the Zaporizhzhya region, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two Russian attacks near the villages of Kam’yans’ke and Novodanylivka, along the Orikhiv axis. These areas have become a focal point in the ongoing conflict, and the latest developments highlight the strategic significance of Ukraine’s defensive efforts in this sector.

Looking at the map, Kam’yans’ke and Novodanylivka are located in the southeastern part of the Zaporizhzhya region. Orikhiv, just north of these villages, serves as a crucial town near the center of the region. This area represents a key part of Ukraine’s southern defensive line. Russia’s attempts to push through in this direction seem to be aimed at weakening Ukraine’s hold on these positions to open a pathway deeper into Ukrainian-controlled territory. Kam’yans’ke and Novodanylivka are particularly significant due to their proximity to major roads, making them critical points of control for any military movement in the region.

The Orikhiv axis itself is a strategic route for Russian forces trying to advance further into southern Ukraine. However, the fact that Ukraine managed to stop these two attacks in their tracks shows just how formidable the defenses are in this area. As we observe on the map, this region is essential for Russia’s attempts to move south, making it a focal point of repeated offensives.

These failed assaults demonstrate that Russian forces are finding it increasingly difficult to gain a foothold in this critical sector. The defense around Kam’yans’ke and Novodanylivka is holding strong, forcing Russia to commit more resources if they hope to break through Ukraine’s southern defensive line. Control of this area is crucial for both sides: if Russia were able to breach these positions, it could open the way for further advances towards the heart of Zaporizhzhya. But for now, Ukraine’s ability to hold the line has halted that threat.

  2. I believe the failure of trump will dishearten putin, and many russians.
trump is in very serious trouble, with many witnesses, emails, phone messages, etc, incriminating him and others. The judge seems to be OK. I don't think there is any chance of him winning an election, without fraud.
