  1. I went to Stagecoach London’s Bromley Garage 100th Anniversary Open Day on Sunday, 14 September 2024. Stagecoach partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support to host this event [1], and proceeds from admission tickets went to the charity. Many buses were there, including the first-ever ALX400 double-decker bus with Stagecoach London, TA1, registration number S801 BWC, and Alexander Dennis Enviro400s of different generations. The newest electric buses, an Alexander Dennis Enviro400EV demonstrator and a Wright Electroliner, were also displayed. The London Bus Museum also ran free heritage buses on routes 61 and 261 on the day. Many bus enthusiasts and families were there, and several stalls were selling bus destination blinds, bus models, books and other paraphernalia.

I recorded videos of the event [2][3]. The videos are pretty long, as I record things in detail from an archival footage perspective.

  2. Please read before commenting: This post is a repost of a post I made and deleted on Friday. What happened was that I realised some of the photos were taken at a different event about an hour after posting, and hence, I had to delete that post. I’m giving the post a fresh start with the right photos today.

The old post only lasted an hour, so hopefully, no harm was done. I’ll be more careful next time!

(Please do not reply to this specific comment. I plan to delete the comment a week later. It explains why people might feel a Deja Vu from Friday afternoon within that one-hour window.)
