Russian opposition activist and political prisoner, Ildar Dadin, known by his callsign “Gandhi”, was killed in combat while fighting for Ukraine. Dadin was imprisoned in Russia in 2015 and subjected to torture. In 2023, he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces and was killed in the Kharkiv region
