I expect that pretty soon all those North Koreans in prison camps are going to start turning up dead in the Donbas.

So apparently they were officers, which is not at all surprising. I think this conflict is a pretty opportune time for North Korea to familiarise itself with the ways of modern war against a conventional enemy.
