With 3 of our toughest games out of the way, how have you felt Kompany has tactically set up his team?

Pretty shitty today. Possession doesn’t mean a fucking thing if you’re going to keep giving the other team wide open looks at goal. Why you’re playing like that with 2 and some change left in the game is absolutely perplexing.
Time needs to be taken to plug the gaps. If that happens, that will put things back to being positive. But what really needs to happen is Kompany and co. need to be agile and adapt more effectively.
He is lucky there is the international break so he can work a little bit because something is wrong.
Counting in Weder Bremen, wie had 84 (!!) Shots on goal and the opposite had 14. But the score difference is 9:6. There is our problem.

We lack a bit at the very end. But saying that Bayern is completely cooked right now is really delusional. We are getting there, but the bunch of spoiled fans who just bitch about anything will make it seem like is the end of the world. If I’m honest, between what we have and what we had last season, this is a big improvement.

It’s showing that Palhinha is exactly the kind of player that Kompany needs to figure out how to fit into his system. We need someone who is focused on our rest defence, someone who is always on the look out for what to do if and when we lose the ball, so that counter-attacks become less effective. We need someone who is an expert at ‘defending with the ball’, and that’s where Palhinha comes in.
I also think the team needs to work a whole lot on their chance conversion. We are creating lots of chances for ourselves but that means nothing if we can’t convert them. Perhaps give our set pieces some thought too. So that even if we struggle to score from open play, we always stand a good chance to score a goal from corners or free kicks.
Overall opinion though? I’m way more confident with how the team looks this season compared to last season. I just hope Bayern doesn’t let those 3 games affect them too much and start picking up form again, work on what’s mentioned above, and we should have a good time under Kompany.
shift to a 433 if that adds more stability, or a 4321. We need to play palhinha in the centre and calm the high line down. We are not controlling games like we did in 2020, there are more than a few teams that will pick us apart on the counter.
