It's one of the Magnificent Seven cemeteries and might be the most stunning of the lot. There are so many fascinating memories and it's an oasis of peace. Well worth a visit.

Cheers for the heads up – I’ve had Highgate on my radar for a few years but never managed to get the timing right… this looks good for a spring walk!
I love it when they’ve been left to go ‘wild’ – Tower Hamlets is now a nature reserve (and I know I have some bones in there) – I was also fortunate enough to see the ‘Hardy Tree’ near St. Pancras many years ago before it blew down…
