We went to England for a family trip the other week and rented a car. We could never figure out what these arrows on the road that went from one lane into the other were. Can an England native explain for us?

If you are over taking someone and see these it means get back in lane as soon as safe to do so. Most likely see these just before areas it’s unsafe to over take or a two lane road is going down to one
