One dead and three hurt after explosion at block of flats in Alloa, Scotland

>Sergeant Neill Drummond said: “We are still working to establish the full circumstances of what happened at this property, however, we can confirm that one male has passed away.
>”Our enquiries to confirm his identity and provide his next of kin with all the necessary support they may require are ongoing.”

My parents live about half a mile away. They said they heard a huge boom last night and didn’t know what happened until they saw it on STV.
Those houses are some of the oldest in the area. Been sat there since the late 1800s or something. Absolutely solid built. For it to have taken the roof and the front off, there must’ve been one hell of an explosion. It’s a miracle only one person died considering how close the houses are on that street and the building in question being a 4-in-a-block
My house is the one next door, if it wasn’t for that thick walls I’d probably not be here.
