The real question is why do Americans value their shitty lives so highly? Live a little you Presbyterian cunts
We ask ourselves the same thing regarding our neighbours… must be an Anglo thing

Better question would have been: “How do you prevent certain people from rushing to the Hospital for the smallest inconviniences?”
And the answer is, we dont
This is the same logic as religion, how do people know not to sin if there is no hell? How about basic human decency, if you need a god for that you’re not a good person.
It’s not that they themselves would jump of rooftops if they could afford it, it’s that they immediately assume that poor people could use this as a scam exploit
Tbh even if that’s the case, if you’re coming with an elaborate plan to break your legs and pull through with it, you deserve to get paid
