They could have easily flown from a different time zone where for them its lunch or dinner time. Just casue local time is 5:06 am doesnt mean it is for them
I sometimes have microwave pasta for breakfast
Nothing wrong with that. I eat left over curry for breakfast when I’m not at the airport.
I remember night shifts used to mess with my sense of time. Not sure how I’d cope working at an airport, where everyone is living on a different time zone!
It’s not the time they are eating it just that they can afford it at the airport! Close me 4 quid for a small bottle of pop at Stansted
Maybe flying & jet lag bungs them up a bit, so they’re just trying to get ahead of the game.
Airports don’t count. Curry and a pint at 4 in the morning is the norm
That’s nothing haha. I had 2 pints of lager and no breakfast at 3am Gatwick spoons
Time doesn’t exist in the Gatwick spoons!
It’s a spoons at 5 am and want a curry and a sausage bap with a pint of cider spoons! ….
Airports are timezone free. Unless he was insisting OOP pay for it for him, they can mind their own business.
They have probably been up all night
Lots of cultures around the world do not have set foods for certain meals; fried rice is a popular breakfast staple in many parts of Asia. Personally, left over pizza is my favourite breakfast 🙂
Curry for breakfast always hits the spot. Especially left over curry from the takeaway.
Time is an illusion in airports, I’m not getting on any damn plane without at least one gin in me.
And…..
Tikka Masala is not spicy, I don’t think he *needed* those 4 pints to wash it down!
We are a nation of pigs
As an italian, that’s exactly what we think of any foreigner who orders cappuccino after 11am.
I have been living abroad for far too long to care about this anymore, but I remember thinking it was quite weird. Customs and traditions are weird.
Still stop drinking cappuccino alongside your pizza though. That is bloody disgusting
Airports exist outside of space and time.
For real, a pint of cider goes great with a fry up.
And what’s wrong with that? Pray tell
International waters. Anything’s fair game
That sounds fantastic, in fact
Airports dont count, me and my dad where at Stansted waiting for our plain to dublin, so we had a pint and a bacon sandwich for breakfast, it was about 6am
It’s always time o’clock at the airport.
I’d be on my 2nd pint
Curry was a breakfast food. Queen Victoria often had curry for breakfast
Never eaten couch pizza from the night before? Man, I miss my 20’s. Youth is wasted on the young.
