FRANCE 24 interviews producer of viral Donald Trump-inspired song ‘Eating the cats’ • FRANCE 24

Musician and producer David Scott “The Kiffness” recently spoke to FRANCE 24 on how he picked up on Donald Trump’s now-debunked claim of immigrants supposedly eating cats and dogs and turned it into what became a viral sensation called “Eating the cats”. The song is a “proper earworm and it has been driving me crazy because I’m performing the song every night and people are singing along”, said Scott.

  2. One black lady from Springfield got youtube crying because the world has turned it into a joke. But she sobbed, you will never understand until you see your dogs decapitate head on your driveway. Very horrifying.

  18. No one in USA knows what real hunger and famine is all about…..And no, it has nothing to do with the casual half-day-fasting some religious people make one or two Sundays during the year. Apparently some of the Haitians brought to United States not only their culture, but also their "famine mentality"……And yes, some honest Haitians agree that this is a common practice in times of crisis in Haiti…..However, some Trump critics have tried to make fun of his comments and ridicule him, assuming that the rest of the world has the same american mentality and values. (That's called "ethnocentrism")…..And no, I'm not a Trump Fan and I won't vote for him, but we need to be as objective as possible! 😊

  19. Not a single word spent on the real victims of Trump's words… The Haitians living in Springfield. But ops… Haitians are black, and ops… He's a Southafrican white. Maybe he chose to buy (and spread) the lie and to protect the pets. From whom?

  26. I’m 70 from UK and I reckon this is the best pop song ever. “Why would you do that..?” Brilliant. Yes it keeps me awake all night like a loop in my brain. I did an extended version on my YouTube vintage solo Harmony, about people of Cebu, with pigs, goats and chickens. So happy the Kiffness is one of my tribe, too!
