It has always been said that he’d leave when Pep did. Given the recent reports about Pep going to 2027 when many within the club expected 2025 would be the last extension I think (and hope) this is Txiki realising that staying with Pep doesn’t go with his schedule anymore and leaving separately.
Berrada would have been the successor. But I’d like to think our structure is able to sustain beyond the one man at the top and we can get an in house replacement.
They are just making guys up now
I assume as we speak Man City are furiously writing letters to the 19 other clubs saying not to read anything into this, and that this is a good sign actually.

I heard Ramon Planes awhile ago who could take over, was at Barca for a few years and is now in Saudi

Weird that he also was the sporting director in Barcelona between 2003 and 2010. The same years that Barcelona paid the refs. Maybe it’s just a coincidence. Like with Pep.
