sorry but this legislation/registration crap just isn’t working just like all these crappy policies we have been getting for the past 20 years. It’s 2024 children shouldn’t be being mauled by violent animals.

I was walking home late in Croydon about a month ago and and i walked past a guy walking with two big dogs, unleashed. I’m not sure but they looked like bully XL or something similar.
Nothing really happened, I just felt vaguely menaced when this massive animal walked up to me unrestrained and sniffed my leg. I wanted to tell the guy to control his dogs but I didn’t even feel safe enough to do that.
And where was the dog owner?
“My bully would never” – probably this owner a week before.
I thought these were banned?
I used to carry a sharp stainless steel pen to and from my car, as one of the houses I had to walk past, had one of these animals. The owner would regularly lose control of it.
The pen was for the dog’s eyes, incase I was ever the unlucky one who happened to be walking past when this thing went off.
