Over the past few weeks, I’ve shared several of my maps of London, but today I wanted to show one that is still in progress.
This map centers on the Barbican Estate and its surrounding area, capturing over 1,000 years of London’s rich history.
Currently, I’m focusing on the area within the ancient London Wall, carefully detailing the many lost churches and historic livery halls that once stood here. Once this section is complete, I’ll shift northward to depict the Barbican Estate with its iconic Brutalist towers rising above the medieval streets.
I’ll post again once I have completed the map!
