Argentina university holds classes in street to protest Milei’s drastic cuts | DW News

Some faculties of Buenoa Aires’ university are teaching classes in the street as a form of protest against President Javier Milei’s drastic public spending cuts.

Milei’s government has vetoed a bill guranteeing funding for universities but lawmakers in Congress are seeking to override the veto.

  1. Adopt capitalism and see the results? US will remain unaffected because they are looting everywhere in the world. Everyone has to side with Russia and uproot western European culture, economy that has paralyzed 90% people of the world.

  2. I have friend who was educated in Argentina in publicly funded universities. So many people went to classes sometimes there werent enough seats. Great that people got educated but a lot of taxi drivers have bachelors degrees. Public university for everyone is by and large a misallocation of public resources.
