This feels wrong…? Surely it’s 19% for China not 119%?
I feel like I want the current square to be sized appropriately to indicate the growth of the sector as a whole in addition to the changes of each country. As is, I wouldn’t be able to tell if a country like Germany decreased because the other players out grew them, or if they decreased compared to themselves. But sized appropriately, I would at least be able to do a size comparison between Germany old and Germany current.
This was before all the sanctions on China so I expect it to be lower now. SMIC can’t do leading edge nodes without a replacement for ASML EUV lithography machines and no Chinese company can make one yet.
The AGI who is manipulating tech companies to increase the size of data centers globally with a fake LLM AI bubble so it can get to exponential intelligence growth approves of this chart.
4 out of the top 6 biggest exporters have seen increase in market share, and the combined share of the 6 went from 75% of the global market in 2015 to 88% now. All situated in east Asia.
No wonder America panicked in the last two years.
US keeps fucking things up and that Intel fiasco cost them a lot.
