Do you eat your crisps with your sandwich like a meal, or afterwards like a pudding?

I've always had my crisps afterwards but noticed some people make a sort of lunch buffet, for want of a better term. Do people have any strong views on this? Clearly I have too much time on my hands if I'm wondering about this.

  1. Depends on the flavour, but often about half the bag goes into the sandwiches and I finish off what’s left after I’ve eaten the sandwiches.

If it was a chicken or turkey sandwich for example, I would leave salt and vinegar crisps for after so they don’t over power the subtle hints of the sarnie. If it’s corned beef and Branston, or Piccalilli, that can take the flavour.

Sweet Christ, I used to be cool years ago. Now I’m categorising crisps on Reddit.

  2. Just polished off a ham sandwich with walkers cheese & onion placed within.

Best combination of flavour and texture.

  3. Crisps inside the sandwixh.

Unless its pickled onion monster munch. Food of the Gods and enjoyed on their own.

  4. Afterwards? Are you even a Brit? What psychopathic behaviour.

You eat those crisps alongside/in/at the same time (however), you do NOT eat them afterwards. That’s what a chocolate bar is for, or a piece of fruit if you’re that way inclined.

  5. A friend at work said he eats his crisps separately and I was like wtf.. the whole point is to combine flavours
