  1. Emily’s move from Paris to Rome should be no surprise considering Rome and Paris have been exclusively and reciprocally twinned with each other since 9 April 1956 , following the motto: “Only Paris is worthy of Rome; only Rome is worthy of Paris.” (from Wikipedia)

  2. Dude is incredible…

He creates a huge political crisis, starts working with far right and leaves a huge hole in the budget and now apparently he feels like it is the perfect time to give his take on Emily in Paris going to Rome.

The guy is certifiably insane I swear, stress was just too much and he lost it, I see no other reason.

  3. That’s crazy, according to the article, nearly 4% of all tourists to Paris can be directly attributed to coming to Paris due to the show Emily in Paris…!!

  4. I really hate how ‘Emily in Paris’ romantizes Paris and Rome. Let’s be real – Emily would have gotten robbed and trampled by tourists by now

  5. Good to see Macron’s attention is on the things that matter.

I wonder what his thoughts are on this season of Koh-Lanta.

  6. Why? I thought France didn’t want migrants that drive up the cost of living and whatnot

  7. “because he ought to know that a production company like Netflix does not take orders from heads of state or make decisions based on political pressure“

This has to be the most out of touch, hypocritical thing I have ever heard from someone in the show business.

For some tax breaks they would move the entire show to Moscow, and for some free slave labour they would move it to North Korea.

And what about the Netflix shows that aren’t on Netflix in Saudi Arabia and the Emirates? And the ones that are but have been censored?

    Have some self awareness.

  8. Dude’s fighting the far right with one hand and Hollywood with the other. Anyone know who he’s kicking?

  9. Isn’t this a Netlfix show? An American Netflix show? Surely there are more important things to worry about than what direction the Americans want to take their shows in.

  10. Macron is right, keep fighting hard to let Emily stay in Paris, Americans already have enough stereotypes about (New Jersey) Italians, no need to add new ones.

  11. Please someone pay attention to the magazine that is quoted:

“he told Variety in an interview”

  12. Lol Macron just fucking leave to be honest, you have become the joke of a shadow of yourself.
