Emily in Paris is just minstrel show with French people.
Anyone who moves to a country and doesn’t learn the language is vile scum… on that note ‘dos full english por favor’
I read a post in askfrance about a french belgian complaining about being constantly corrected by his boss for saying nonante (?) instead of .. that other thing. So, getting the kind of job and general clout that Emily has, seems kinda unrealistic. Then again like most/a lot of main characters she comes from money and the normal rules don’t apply then
I wouldn’t have learned any French either after living there for a year and a half. But then I would only live there under some form of duress, especially in Paris.
I don’t even know what Emily in Paris is supposed to be and at this point I’m afraid to ask, and also I don’t give a shit so yeah whatever
This lady in the video makes such funny videos 😂 she has done a spoof of Emeline in New York where a French version of Emily goes to New York and makes an arse of herself.
Didn’t know the berret was insulting.
Where can I buy one?
my ex liked this show, she was american
we are no longer together
Can’t wait for the sequel “Emily in Birmingham”
Emily would love to see belgian job adverts that require you to speak all the national languages 🙂
Emily in Brussels💀
i’m on the french side on this one (as much as it pains me to do so).
if you live and work in a country for over a year, and you can barely speak the language, shouldn’t complain that people in there don’t give a crap about them.
Fuck emily, though.
I stand with Pierres.
Don’t worry, in the next season Emily is going to Rome in order to not learn a single word of Italian and it is making Macron angry enough to make a tweet about it
…
I wish I was joking
I haven’t seen it, but the main character is so hot that that alone made me consider watching it. Pretty privilege is absolutely real.

For a long-form takedown of Emily – [Check out this video,](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTLIIik_o2k&ab_channel=FriendlySpaceNinja) which goes into great and insulting detail.
