Couple trapped in flooded house rescued with digger

A couple was rescued with a digger as they were trapped during a flood in Fojnice, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Employees from the building company Grakop heroically came to the rescue using their excavator to help the two residents.

Officials said that at least 16 people died in floods elsewhere in the municipality of Jablanica.

Bosnia’s Civil Defense said between 20 and 40 people were listed as missing as they were either trapped under the rubble or carried away by flooding.
