Amazing that it was Jimmy Chin of all people who visit Everest to find it too.Especially if they go on to find the camera.I can’t believe it’s already been 25 years since they found Mallory’s remains. It’s good to know the Irvine family have closure now as well.Hopefully they find the rest of his remains and get closer to finding out if they made it or not.I wonder if they can find the rest of the body and the camera, although I suspect they’ve been churned up by the glacier and are now long gone.Still, I’m choosing to believe that he and Mallory made it to the summit. Legends regardless. There’s something morbidly fascinating about the fact that the bodies are left _in situ_ for perpetuity. How do they know he didn’t hop off into the sunset ?Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
