Florida braced for ‘unsurvivable’ hurricane | Hurricane Milton

US President Joe Biden has told people in Florida to follow all local safety advice as the state prepares for what is expected to be one of the strongest storms in a century.

Hurricane Milton is currently a category four storm packing 130mph winds.

Mr Biden accused Donald Trump of promoting disinformation and “outright lies” about the federal government’s response to the hurricane.

  1. I've just looked up Tampa Fl on Apple weather app. It currently says 30mph winds with 55 mph occasional gusts and they have had 290mm of twin with 2mm more expected

So bit breezy and wet but eminently survivable

  2. Józef Malanowski is a Pole from Eastern Europe. We have our own unique perspective on the world and understand it differently. We believe in our resilience, and if someone thinks otherwise, that’s their problem. I, too, am Polish.😂😅

  3. Maybe the US will finally start to realise the implications of their own actions towards pollution with their selfishly large, gas guzzling SUVs and pickup trucks, their deep rooted excessive consumerism culture, and removing themselves from the global movement towards sustainability and reducing emissions. These natural disasters will only continue to worsen until we actually start to take proper action towards living sustainably, on a GLOBAL scale.

  4. Update on Lieutenant Dan….He’s currently in Oz, making his way up the yellow brick road in search of the wizard to get back home.

  5. Our hearts and prayers are with the people who are affected by Milton. As natural disasters are becoming more frequent, it reminds us how crucial it is to do what we do.

Our goal is to build disaster resilient homes for America and we will continue to work towards it.

We pray that God gives those who were affected in this hurricane the strength to face this situation.
