Unpopular opinion incoming, I absolutely hated these. Can’t stand fruit and cream together. I was the kid at the party who had to have jelly and ice cream in different bowls
Never had them I don’t think. All I overly remember is my Nan, on my Dad’s side, used to ply me with Fox’s Glacier Mints and my Grandpa, on my mother’s side, plied me with Werther’s Original!
strawberry worthers originals
These were super popular in Canada, when I go home there is a knockoff company that tastes the exact same now. When I visit family in Canada I get a bag
I personally preferred the orange to strawberry but I know that puts me in the minority.
They were just hard brittle sweets that was easy to choke on. Flavour were ok but nothing to rave about..
They have something similar in Aldi
These were basically edible happiness in swirl form.
Did they do these in a sugar free version? I vaguely recall having some (or something similar), went through the whole bag, then started with terrible wind.
Seems the sugar free ones had an artificial sweetener that necessitated a statement along the lines of “excessive consumption may cause laxative effects”. Yeah, thanks for making sweets irresistible that make me spend the next few hours running to the toilet.
