Tooting residents. Until 1994, when Sunday Trading was made legal, Deepak’s was the only place us poor St George’s nurses could buy milk for our cereal after a long Saturday nightshift. Big supermarkets were shut on Sundays. Nice to see they’ve kept the name. 😊 (2 pics)

Tooting indoor market is one of Londons hidden gems.
They’ve moved down to near Thornton Heath pond if i recall correctly.
