  1. I watched a couple of episodes a while back, I neither liked, nor disliked it, just stopped watching because it wasn’t my thing, which is strange as I generally like those sorts of shows.

  2. I really like it but as a church reader it can be a little close to real life problems at times – that’s when I watch father ted to laugh at someone else’s problems šŸ˜

  3. Absolutely stellar show. And it really “gets” modern Anglicanism. They’re all good, but Simon McBurney is brilliant, as is Miles Jupp.

  4. “See what it is yeah…”

I enjoyed it. Filmed at St Leonard’s in Shoreditch, which my friend attended at the time. The tiny congregation was accurate!

  5. The actor on the far left, playing the Mancunian, is a supporter of fan-owned football club FC United of Manchester. They’ve got a sub at r/fcum

  6. Yes, one of my favourite underrated sitcoms. When I had my first meeting with the vicar at the church where I went to get married I asked if he watched it and he replied “Oh, you mean that documentary?” I took to greeting him with “Alright vicarage!” every time I saw him after that.

  7. Adored it. There was always a threat of a new series, but I think we’re past that now.
Everybody got a bit too famous ā€¦ & busy.

  8. I am across the pond, and I remember watching this series on Hulu. I really enjoyed it!
