  1. Their curry versions of beans are actually pretty decent so I’d be tempted to taste this. I’m assuming no actual sausages though

Edit: it says with Richmond so yeah no actual sausages.

  2. Ah yes…Christmas seasoning…like…that good old seasonal seasoning…yeah…nope not a clue.

    Any ideas anybody?

  3. In my house we called them bacon rolls. I never even heard of pigs in blankets until I saw that Friends Thanksgiving episode where they mentioned them.

How long has a small sausage wrapped in bacon been known as a pig in blanket in Britain?

  4. Curiosity will get the better of me and I’ll try this at least once regardless of my expectations

  5. Pure muck in a tin.

Branston beans are superior. Richmond ‘sausages’ are horrific, and I dread to think what that bacon is.

better to just put some actual pigs in blankets in the oven and mix them in after.

  6. Heinz were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn’t stop to think if they should.

  7. With Richmond!

Did someone let him out of his room

…………………..and put him in baked beans!

  8. I bought a tin from Sainsbury’s in the interest of science, tasted ok, not sure what the Christmas seasoning was, possibly a slight taste of stuffing. There were 4 or 5 sausages about 0.0278 fathoms in length.

  9. They should make the cans play the national anthem when you open them – like those cards you used to be able to get.

There’s untapped potential here. This is the tip of the iceberg.

  10. Just a reminder to everyone that Heinz beans with sausages are no longer gluten free because they use Richmond “sausages” now. Miserable change for everyone, but especially coeliacs

  11. Gross. Utterly gross. Heinz is nasty, sugary crap now, and Richmond? Really? The worst sausages, bar the cheapest ones. Ugh.

    Christmas seasoning? Fucks that?

Everything about this screams run away, to me.
