  15. The money spent on weapons will be taken from efforts that could make life better and peace more useful.
    There will be people willing to use the weapons once they’re there and whatever rivals they are to counter, they will have to join the arms race.

  17. Same in ~~west germany~~ netherlands. Army and prison guard ads everywhere. But especially army. And the worst part is they make it look kinda fun

  21. Recruitment into the military seems to be a big problem across Western nations. It certainly seems to be a career of last resort, than honourable these days

  22. This marketing already existed in 2016/2017 and has nothing to do with the current situation.

  23. I’m glad they are pumping that much into advertising instead of making military service obligatory again. Hopefully it works.

  24. On a side note. The Bundeswehr also has a Spotify account where the songs/music uploaded to are absolute bangers. Like… they’re the army. They’re not allowed to have such bangers!

  26. What’s the offer for potential soldiers now? Still invading Poland?

    When they announced they would end conscription I wasn’t expecting Flecktarn on my food packaging.

    What a waste of money. Who thought this was a good idea?
