1. If you had the chance to meet with Hansi Flick and his coaching team, what would you ask them to gain insight into Bayern or his time with the German NT? Through sheer chance, it turns out that I might have such an opportunity… I’d report back here if I got anything interesting.

   I would ask Brazzo, Nagelsmann, or Tuchel a litany of questions about decisions made or events and how they interpreted them. With Flick I’m drawing a blank… is there anything interesting he could unveil if he’s asked nicely enough? Tactical and football questions are obviously preferred— wouldn’t ask him about gossip or drama.

   1. What did he observe from the team during the final stretch of Kovač’s tenure? What was missing?

   2. Did he know the “high-risk” aspect of his tactics (the “high line) and what gave him confidence to stick with it?

   3. What was the hardest match to plan for? Why?

   Anything else come to mind? I don’t remember his full season all too well, we lost to PSG on away goals in the CL but suffered many injuries. It wasn’t a bad season by any stretch but the team felt brittle and couldn’t sustain their aura of confidence. Maybe I would ask if he felt the same and what he thought was the cause of it.
