Continue the same steps that have been so successful so far? It’s a joke.
Interestingly enough, the UN Peacekeepers could…leave. They generally do when other peacekeeping missions turn into an active war zone.
An impotent org sends impotent troops into a warzone & gets hit in the crossfire.
What an utter joke the UN is.
How is UN keeping peace in Lebanon in the first place when Hezbollah keeps sending rockets?
Reminder that just yesterday the UN was complaining that Israel can’t keep UN food shipments safe in Northern Gaza.
Yet 100 miles away the UN is happy to have 10,000 troops sitting around doing nothing, for decades.
The UN does not want to help. Not Israel. Not Palestinians. The only group they’re currently helping is Hezbollah.
I think a real tragedy is to the truth. There has been so much outright lies to deceptive reporting that has taken place to try and smear Israel that any breaking news report becomes suspect.
Lies are cheap and take seconds to write. The truth is expensive and it takes time and expertise to understand and present it. Its no wonder the infosphere is so polluted.
What was the UN peacekeeping force doing anyhow? They let Hezbolla shoot rockets into Israel starting Oct 8th and haven’t made any attempt to stop it for a year.
They should just leave
For all those who state that Israel has no business to tell the UN to get out of harms way i would agree if there were media headlines from the last decade stating that these UN forces have been actively engaging Hezbollah in their area of responsibility, wich would mean many more deaths and wounded on the UN side as what is happening right now. By not doing their job or inability to do their job as they are supposed to do this with the lebanese army, israel has every right to tell them to step aside and let them do the demilitarisation. The UN, by not doing their job facilitated hezbollah to shoot rockets and mount attacks from the UN area of responsibility, meaning they are useless and should not be in the area where they can become collateral damage to the demilitarisation of hezbollah by Israel.
translation: they won’t stop shooting at them till the Irish leave Southern Lebanon.
That’s more courtesy than expected, don’t they usually tell the US to get bent and send more money anyway?

I sure as hell hope so. Accidents and unintentional friendly fire do occur. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the reality of war.
