  1. Zero percent chance they don’t know that’s there.

The UN is intentionally putting themselves in the line of fire just to obstruct the IDF.

  2. Quick translation: “So this is what it looks like- Hezbollah underground shaft. The ladder leads to hospitality rooms, underground bunker with large amounts of firearms. And looks what we got just a few meters away- a UNIFIL position. and an entire UNIFIL base. All of this less than 100m from this position, all this place who is ruined and dug completely, was a Hezbollah fortress full of firearms.”

  3. On Liveua map Lebanon you could see that were an Israeli tank was ambushed was like 1 block away from the UN outposts. My first thought is that they either watched and documented the ambush or are doing nothing there at all. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised either way if it was accidental targeting with this proximity or if Israeli soldiers were acting out at UN peacekeepers indifferently watch them go into an ambush without warning them. Stooping to targeting the UN shouldn’t be encouraged but you understand they shouldn’t be there now. Specifically there as in what we see in this video. That’s insane and counter productive. The worst case scenario is they are actively collaborating.

  4. UN sole mandate was to ensure Hezbollah remained north of the Litani River. They completely failed their sole job.

They should pack up and go home.

  5. What is it that is trying to be implied here? Should UN peacekeepers shoot people digging a hole in their own country?

  6. I’m guessing there isn’t really anywhere in this area that isn’t very far from one of these tunnels.

  7. You mean to tell me the U.N. didn’t do anything when they had a straight line of sight of a tunnel entrance used by a terrorist organization to murder and attack innocent civilians? That’s so unlike them to allow such an atrocity to happen.

  8. It’s interesting that the door on that shaft has a bunch of leaves, dirt and even growing vegetation on the interior of the door.

You would think that if was a actual active tunnel it would have been shut in the last several months and all that would have been knocked off. It’s almost as if the shaft door has been open for a long time because people already knew it was there and left it open and now Israeli soldiers are pretending they found something relevant to make a video with and then go “there’s like a mansion and guns down their dude and the UN didn’t even know SMH…” Weird they didn’t show that stuff. So weird. I’m sure Israelis would never bullshit though.

  9. I don’t know if I could get out of that hole based on the height of that ladder. Now I see why they’re always doing monkey bars and shit in their training videos. (Actually, I think that’s a different group, but close enough.)

  10. Just gonna say there is a lot of misinformation going on in the comments and on the title. Do your research and come to your own conclusion don’t blindly believe what others are saying use your own judgement.

  11. All I see is a hole in the ground. How does anyone know the video is showing a terrorist outpost?

  12. I will never understand Reddit’s love affair with the UN, especially considering the UNRWA has been proven to essentially be a branch of Hamas at this point.

  13. This is insanity. UNIFIL operation costs $500 Million annually and they don’t even publish reports about Hezbollah so close to their positions.
