Because even though plans are reportedly focusing on it, Netanyahu is also one sneaky little SOB (and a rather smart one too), and could go for the less obvious route for striking Iran. As Gallant has said, the response would be in their own terms something that would be surprising and take Iran off guard, as he says that “Our strike will be lethal, precise and above all, surprising. They won’t understand what happened and how. They will see the results. Whoever strikes us will be harmed and pay a price.” Netanyahu has also said, “Talk little, do a lot”. These comments would all indicate a more sneaky and gradual approach to be used against Iran.

   It could be that Israel fools us into thinking that they will attack the energy infrastructure and instead they go for military infrastructure entirely.

   THAAD is being used for Israel, and to me, that indicates that it is more the military infrastructure that is likely to be targeted.
