  1. So are they actually going to do it? Because even though plans are reportedly focusing on it, Netanyahu is also one sneaky little SOB (and a rather smart one too), and could go for the less obvious route for striking Iran. As Gallant has said, the response would be in their own terms something that would be surprising and take Iran off guard, as he says that “Our strike will be lethal, precise and above all, surprising. They won’t understand what happened and how. They will see the results. Whoever strikes us will be harmed and pay a price.” Netanyahu has also said, “Talk little, do a lot”. These comments would all indicate a more sneaky and gradual approach to be used against Iran.

It could be that Israel fools us into thinking that they will attack the energy infrastructure and instead they go for military infrastructure entirely.

THAAD is being used for Israel, and to me, that indicates that it is more the military infrastructure that is likely to be targeted.

  2. How much could oil prices shoot up if they do hit oil facilities? Fuel has actually got back to somewhat reasonable prices again where I am

  3. This article brings up an interesting angle regarding the potential geopolitical ripple effects of an Israeli attack on Iran’s oil bases. It’s fascinating to see how interconnected the geopolitical landscape in the Middle East is, especially with actors like Hezbollah playing such a significant role in Iran’s proxy strategies.

I recently created a deep dive video on Hezbollah’s ties with Iran and how it has evolved into a key part of Iran’s grand strategy, not just in Lebanon but across Syria and Iraq as well. The rise of Hezbollah could very well shape the future of conflicts like the one mentioned in this article.

If anyone’s interested, here’s a link to the video where I discuss Hezbollah’s role in Iran’s broader goals: [https://youtu.be/WQKn3PyvsDc](https://youtu.be/WQKn3PyvsDc)

I’d love to hear your thoughts on whether Hezbollah could get drawn into this potential conflict, and what impact that might have on the region.

  4. People who can invest in the energy sector now will make a hell of a lot of money in the near future.

  5. Yes, it definitely would. And if you’re Netanyahu, it makes perfect sense. He has nothing to lose. The US will provide cover for them no matter what, and if it helps them get an even friendlier president, then bam. It’s a win-win for them.
