In Slavic countries “Anglosasi” usually mean “people from English speaking world”, but yes, translated directly it is “Anglo-Saxons”. So this is not “Putin being stupid” but rather “translator being stupid and thinking that Putin was stupid”.
And as a Pole, I really don’t want to defend this piece of shit, but this is just awful translation. Just like translating “bilion” as “billion” from languages that know how count to language that do not know how to count (English)*.
*Even French know that 1,000,000,000 is not a billion, and they say 2×40+2 instead of 92.
