  2. Free Speech… I guess terroristic threats can also be considered free speech. However there is a reason why it can lead to someones conviction. Free speech is not excuse to abuse our freedoms.

While I actually, as a liberal, support the second amendment, the intent was not to protect the first amendment by maintaining the ability of the populace to take up arms against each other, it was intended to maintain the ability of the populace to take up arms against the government itself. It is the wealthy, oligarch controlled government’s greatest fear that we the people might do just that. That’s why there’s such a fierce campaign in place through legacy and social media to keep us divided.

  22. Jon is being too lenient. Musk is barely human anymore. He’s not a genius he just ridiculously rich & socially insane. He can’t do interviews, he can’t speak understandably. He’s John Hammond from Jurassic Park, he stood on the shoulders of smarter people. F billionaires. F corporations. He’s willing to pay you to vote for Trump? This is legal? He’s not to be admired, he should be taxed into millions of dollars.

  24. Really disappointed with the Daily Show lately. Their agenda has been so opaque. It went from a neutral comedic reflection on the broader political landscape to a partisan mouthpiece.

  29. I think it should be in the provessional ethics of a jurnalist, to remember, that ms. Harrys is still the Vice President! There are certain questions she CANNOT answer! The second in command cannot publicly stab the 1. in command in the back!
    And I think the jurnalists know that, and its a pervidious way of forcing her into a dificult answer?

  37. I mean, it’s not like Trump lying to the American people is a new thing or unexpected, but here he said that Elon’s company is the only reason we can now send American astronauts into space. This is objectively not true. We can send American astronauts via any of the other manned launch vehicles in any of the other countries that operate those launch vehicles, too. This includes via a Boeing Starliner atop an Atlas V rocket, as we all witnessed with much controversy just a few months ago.

    Now it may be that SpaceX is the only reason we can RETURN American astronauts from space using a launch vehicle built and operated in the United States by a U.S.-based company, but there are several other ways to launch American astronauts INTO space.
