This is effectively a statement of unconditional backing for transfer of Taurus because “subject to Russia continuing to attack civilian targets” is a near certainty.
I hope it’s a statement that can be taken at face value.
Merz is a populist who’s flirting with the far right. He’s not quite Trumpian yet, but he gets closer by the day. In all aspects that don’t pertain to filling his and his friends pockets, his incompetence is only superseded by the stupidity of the German electorate and the alternative “reality” they inhabit.
My point is this: Fotzenfritz (“Fritz, the cunt”), as he is affectionately called, is not to be trusted one inch. In fact, Putin would probably prefer Merz as chancellor over most other potential German heads of government.
