The answer is obviously no until the war is over. Afterwards, of course. It would be the only way to ensure lasting peace.

If this is true, and peace cannot occur without Ukraine membership to NATO, then there will never be peace. The unanimous consent for admitting new nations means that Ukrainian membership will never happen as long as it’s engaged in a war. Let’s stop wasting our time asking for impossible things like NATO membership. It’s just a waste of time that could be better spent on other efforts.

Yes. Even if Russia would took 4 provinces and Crimea. Ukraine joining NATO would constitute a strategic defeat.
But don’t remove sanctions until land returned and war reparations paid.
How exactly would it bring peace though?
Not only would all border disputes need to be settled but all nato members would need to vote yes on admitting Ukraine this includes countries like Slovakia and Hungary.
