Why do they get so offended though?

  1. I was just reading a book called “Hitler in Los Angeles”, about the pre-World War II effort for Germany to create a Nazi party here in the United States. Some people join the movement because they were of German descent. Some people joined because they thought Germany would rid the world of communism. Most people joined because of anti-Semitic propaganda. After Pearl Harbor America declared war on Japan and Germany intern declared war on the United States. This caused the FBI and other agencies to arrest and deport German/Nazi agitators here in America. But it’s shocking to me that nobody talks about Robert Noble and Ellis Jones, who were Pearl Harbor deniers and advocates of Hitler.

  2. remember a few years ago when the republikkkans were all saying we shouldn’t “criticize” the nazis become some of them are good people?

  3. There’s two types. The ones that get offended when you say Nazi’s are evil. And the ones that agree with you because they seriously believe Nazi’s were actual left wing socialists.

  4. They never agree. They just say that trump isn’t a Nazi. Maybe just agree that Nazis are bad, or maybe even have the courage to say they are good if that’s what you think.

I can not believe that I lived to see the day when a Republican nominee for Congress would say that the wrong side won World War 2. Simply unbelievable.

I can not believe that I lived to see the day that the Republican candidate for a governorship would say that Martin Luther King Jr. was “worse than a maggot” and would call himself a “black Nazi.”

  5. Republicans- Not all Nazis were bad.

2 seconds later- Those Democrats are really antisemitic.

  6. Republicans think freedom of speech means murdering hundreds of millions of people that you don’t like.

    They are very strange.

  7. I finally told the trump lover in my family that he is just like trump and he got mad. Lol.

  8. There were some dildo Nazis staging a little rally here in St Louis just the other day on an overpass of a highway. I use that every day to go to work, but they did it on a Saturday, so I missed it. They were all flying their flags and were all wearing masks. I wish I had seen them. I would have pulled over and stomped some Nazi ass. If they are so oud of their Nazi beliefs, then why wear masks? Shouldn’t they be proud of it? I don’t care what anyone says, if I see someone flying a Nazi flag in my hometown, I kick thei fucking ass. My Gpa fought these douchebags in WW2, so I’m just continuing the family tradition of fucking up Nazis.

  9. “We’re not Nazis. We are just your garden variety extreme right-wing, authoritarian, populists who tend to fetishize fascist and have built our party position around the nationalistic persecution of minorities, fear and division.”

  10. it makes me sad becuase we need to have a viable political spectrum for a healthy body politic, but when one side just nakedly accepts the lowest common denominator bc they benefit from it, ultimately we’re all worse off.

(i’m not saying the existing positions the republican party is espousing have any place in modern society. in fact, i’m saying the opposite, before any of you get your jimmies rustled. but like there’s a red and blue side of a spectrum, there will be a left and a right. the right just…doesn’t have to be like…fucking fascism :-/)

  11. So I was listening to a great audio series about Hitler on the plane, and I wanted to talk about it with my coworker- except he is a conspiracy theorist “both sides”-er. I quickly became aware how much I was censoring my words to not hurt his feelings… had to make an effort to explicitly say what I was learning about the rise of nazism but I still couldn’t find the courage to outright speak it because the similarities are not in any way subtle

  12. Trump might not be overly racist (he is but the GOP can’t read or hear I guess) but racists are voting for him.

  13. Republicans aren’t all nazis, but nazis are all Republicans. I for one choose to vote the way nazis don’t vote

  14. Remember when the most patriotic thing an American could do was enlist, then go off to Europe to kill Nazis by either shooting them, blowing them up, or lighting them on fire?

People got medals and awards for it, America produced countless films about it, and most importantly **the world was a better place for it.**

  15. Remember the movie The Rocketeer? I’ll always remember that part at the very end where the Nazis reveal themselves at the end and even the gangsters join forces with the police officers and FBI and the main gangster even said:

“I may not make an honest buck, but I’m 100% American. And I don’t work for no 2-bit Nazi.”

Yeah…..I feel like those days of Nazis being the ultimate evil in the world are so long gone now…..
