  1. If Cardiff council could stop pissing money up the wall on vanity projects that nobody wants that would probably help

  2. Well bugger me sideways with a trolibocs if Denbighshire aren’t up there with the worst deficit.

29,000 black bins in storage because they started black bin size reduction and then changed to a £20m troliboc rollout that’s got higher running costs than the old scheme.

We’ve currently got a security guard (agency subcontract of course) sitting 24/7 to secure a burned out council building because the council failed to secure it after multiple reports kids were getting inside.

If there was an award for pissing money up walls these guys would win hands down.

  3. They say they are removing one service unless the student is going to a Welsh medium school or a faith school. How is that legal? How can you make a service unavailable if you are not of the right religion or if you don’t speak the right language?

  4. Moving from cutting the grass from once a year to zero for starters I’m sure. This no mow May for the bees is utter bollocks. If the councils had to cut the grass more in May to help the bees they would say it’s too expensive and wouldn’t bother. Newport council are a disgrace, how about actually going out and attracting someone well paid jobs in the area, not service jobs for starters.

  5. Blaenau Gwent have had this policy in place for some time, so no difference unless they stop refuse collection altogether!
