Ancestry DNA updated their methods and we’ve all just re-lost a bunch of long lost cousins

  1. They seem to have got a better split of Scotland and Donegal/other bits of Ulster now; my spurious Scottish % has fallen to 5% from a high of 18% at one stage (its actually 0, its all Donegal being misplaced).

    Reverse is going to happen for people who had Scotland being misplaced as Donegal.

  5. If you know the percentage Irish you are, then I can tell, with a 5% margin of accuracy, the percentage chance of me thinking you’re a fuckwit.
