They tell you what you want to hear because they need your vote. That’s it. Not one Republican believes in higher wages, less monopolies, lower prices, or caring for those that can’t care for themselves. That includes medicare/medicaide, VA benefits, and social security.
I keep trying to tell people that are immigrants that want illegals out:
#1. I get the anger. And frustration. We should think of a solution.
#2. Deporting all of them is not likely.
#3. I have to remind them… if they are here illegally. They don’t have a way to track them. How will they get 10 million people out of the country? How can they tell who’s a legal imigrant?
It will be stops. Checkpoints. Call in for “report an illegial”. They are going to tell from the color of your skin. No papers that day? Arrested. Sent to detention while they find out if yorue illegal. You’re kids? Hey, kid at school being mean. I wonder if they are here illegally? Problem with co-worker? “I have a brown person here. I’m don’t think they are here legal”.
It’s such, such a dumb thing to think it’s as easy as, “send them all home”.
The brown people were never the real target but a distraction so republicans could steal all of that money you paid in to Social Security. After all, how can they take care of their rich donors with more tax breaks if they don’t fuck over the working class?
Sucks when you want to hurt “those people” and you find out that to the people in power, you are “those people”.
They will still find a way to blame people of color, women, Democrats, China, Iran, or any convenient scapegoat. The self-victimhood has no bottom.
These people are too stupid to function.
Point them at another undesirable to blame and they’ll completely forget about it.
