Of all the silly places to put a solar panel,
Why not build a roof on the tracks and put the solar panels on the roof? Or,.. like… build them someplace else. We are not hurting for space on earth. I imagine it takes 5km of railway or more to have enough solar for 1MW of power. Trains tracks are long and skinny. 1km of track is maybe 1400 square meters.
