  1. If you’re short and some one has set the shower head holder too high, you can use that to pull it down.

  2. If the shower head is too high and you can’t reach it, you can pull it down using that.

  3. If I remember correctly it’s a way to lower the shower head holder in case you can’t reach it.

  4. You pull it to pull down the shower head holder if you can’t reach it otherwise.

  5. Accessibility feature, if you push the shower head holder above a bit too high, shorter ppl/children can pull it down.

  6. For short ppl + excellent place to hang your sponge

  7. If a tall person raises the shower head up. A short person can pull it down using that thing

  8. It summons the local peikko to scrub your back with a hard brush and tar soap.

  9. It’s an accessibility feature for shortarses and children..

  10. I have wondered that too but I never realized the purpose.
I am myself quite a short lady but I have never needed that. Is this a common knowledge?

  11. As a finn im completely confused and have never seen or heard about something like that until now… now you got me interested in what that is🙏

  12. Did you pull it to see what happens?

It is to pull the shower head down for children, disabled, short people etc. basically and accessibility feature.
