  2. How is this specific to AI compared with any other kind of optical or digital photo manipulation that has existed for over a hundred years?

    Don't need AI for that.
    False memories??
    That can be done by repetitive statements to a person, using a false narrative, until the person believes it as true.
    That's been proven.
    AI will just make it easier and faster.
