  1. Facts – Irgun and Haganah and Lehi sacrificed a whole lot of blood to help establish Israel

  2. Less than 25% approval rating in his country, irrelevant internationally, almost stomped by Le Pen, pissing off jews, trying to use UNIFAIL against israel, Macron should just shut up fr.

  3. funny how their groups, who assassinated state ministers and UN mediators, performed a campaign of letter bombings, drove truck bombs into police stations, bombed government offices, mined railways killing civilians, and did raids of settlements killing hundreds of civilians (doesn’t that sound familiar?) are “heroic fighters”, while the people on the other side are always “terrorists” isnt it?

sometimes, I wish that the entire world wasn’t packed with hypocrites.

  4. It’s a good thing Netanyahu is such a great diplomat. He really knows how to bring people to his side.

  5. Not a fan of Bebe but this is the correct response and those who know history were thinking the same thing when Macron said what he said.

  6. I can see why France gave up during WW2, England probably criticized France’s vigorous defense of their country and they got squeamish and called for a ceasefire.

  7. He’s an asshole, but he’s right. The UN resolution proposed Israel’s creation, but the Arabs rejected it and Israel’s existence was determined by the outcome of the war.

  8. Israel was created by the backing of the Great Western powers – France, UK, USA or combination of them always supported Israel, without this support, Israel wouldn’t have existed.

  9. Thanks to the US/UK and then UN arms embargo, Israel literally ended up buying and smuggling in rebuilt German Messerschmits (Avia S-199) from the Czechs to fend off the French-trained Syrian Air Force, who were flying American & British planes they got via the French.

Likewise with the Egyptians with their British-trained pilots flying Spitfires and other allied WW2 planes, which they used to bomb Tel Aviv in the opening days of the war.

Can’t forget about the tanks from France, Britain and America in the invading Egyptian and Syrian armies.

Oh and the Jordanian Arab Legion was commanded by a British General & dozens of British officers before and during the war.

  10. A lot of people swooning over Netanyahu in here. It was indeed a UN resolution and not “heroic fighting” that established Israel.

  11. I mean, good on him for correcting him. If you’re gonna bring history into the argument then do it accurately.
