Other than “Elon will fix it” and “We’ll pay off the debt with Crypto”, Trump has completely abandoned any conservative intent to alter government spending.
This is where I would imagine there are actual conservatives who would like to see Trump gone, so they can reclaim an actual conservative party.
So just to be clear, Trump bailed on the CNBC interview but THIS is the one he agreed to do.
what, he doesn’t think flying on Epstein’s old plane is good enough??
Does he need underage girls installed on the plane to make it “the best”?
There are two on order. He signed off on them after gutting their budget.
They were actually originally slated to be delivered to a Russian airline, but it went bankrupt, so the Air Force bought them instead. In-air refueling and some other features were dropped due to the budget cuts. So, while they will be nice, expenses were spared.
How anybody can listen to him currently and watch that truly freakish thing last night and *STILL* think he’s all that and vote for him…
It’s a combo of a couple things: a batshit deeply committed to the bit personality cult + foreign and domestic big huge money allied with Evangelicals who want Gilead.
How on brand is it that his answer to reducing spending is to spend money? I can’t think of anything that better encapsulates it

This sort of thing is happening more and more often, where the weird, rambling answers he gives aren’t even related to the questions being asked. I’m of the opinion that he’s just spacing out because he lacks the focus to listen to what’s being said, and just shoots off whatever idle thought is passing through his head at that moment because he knows he has to say SOMETHING.
To be fair, Boeing really got fucked up during his tenure… If you remember Shanahan, his acting SecDef
