Radio 1 is just awful. Greg’s not too bad but the idiots they have in now, just no way. Radio 1 died with Chris Moyles and Scott Mills.
Imagine tuning into Radio 1 for music if you’re old enough to be on Reddit.
I agree to an extent but radio 2 is awful (I’m 24)
The music is like a fuckin fever dream and the hosts always have angry people on the phone talking about things they don’t understand (war , complex policy)
I advocate for a Radio 1.5 as 1 is too focused on the kids and 2 is too Waitrosey.
Makes my ears bleeeeeed
Greatest Hits Radio all the way. Pop Master then later Drive Time
Get Radio X on for Chris Moyles breakfast. Incredible listening
Bbc is so dumb. No adverts. Yet they speak and speak and speak for 50% of the time instead, about mostly pointless middle class tosh.
I’d rather listen to adverts on heart etc
Or better yet, music from my phone with zero ads and curated to my tastes (or can skip etc..)
And that’s why Spotify exists
