  1. ***The Dalkey Archive*** is a [1964 novel](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1964_in_literature) by the [Irish](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_people) writer [Flann O’Brien](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flann_O%27Brien). It is his fifth and final novel, published two years before his death. It was adapted for the stage by [Hugh Leonard](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Leonard) in 1965 as *The Saints Go Cycling In*.
