Why do trains have shaving outlets ? Has anyone ever attempted to shave on a moving train ?

  1. If you’re going to try at all, I expect they’d rather you tried with an electric shaver than with a cut-throat razor…

  2. Because they were mostly built in the 70’s and 80’s.
Even kids made back then came with pre installed shaver sockets and ashtrays.

  3. I always shave my koochie on the train. It saves me from having to get up earlier for work! Just gotta be careful when the train goes fast or over a bumpy track.

  4. I changed my mooncup on a very old rickity steam train. I feel like I could shave with a cutthroat razor after doing that!!

  5. That’s ridiculously dangerous on a moving train, I’ll stick to using my machete.

  6. Ha I’ve always wondered this, I couldn’t think of anything more grim than trying to shave in a toilet of a moving train.
