Russians have no artillery support in several areas of the front and no reliable eyes on Ukrainian troop movement.
It is also the reason why Russians in this same area have been resorting to drone dropping on pet dogs and civilians.
A war that involves throwing meat charges around is something Ukraine could never win against Russia. Putin has no regard for Russia’s future that could be missing any work force or starving to death, only the great legacy he can leave behind.
The Russian death count is completely irrellevant. Logistics and equipment, however, DO matter.
What Ukraine can do and has been doing, is making it impossible for Russia to be taken seriously as a world power when its army is falling apart, its leadership is in conflict, and its economy is in tatters. To take away its ports. To make sure it can never invade anybody ever again.
